Much Ado C : rising six, 17h, handsome, branded Hanoverian gelding. Much Ado has an incredibly laid back temperament and a great work ethic. He is a quick learner with a powerful but relaxed way of going. He has been brought along slowly by a professional and he loves his work! He has three beautiful, powerful gaits. He is well schooled at first level and has begun lateral work. Much Ado loves the show ring and also enjoys jumping small courses. He has wonderful potential and rideability. Much Ado is amateur friendly. He is a true gentleman.
Much Ado inherits from his dam’s lines (World Cup IV/Bolero/Wendekreis) outstanding dressage movement. The judge at his first dressage schooling show commented “Wow, wow, wow! Those gaits! You have a superstar on your hands.” His Dam, Willa, is a daughter of SPS Bummy and World Cup IV. An impressive mare, Bummy was the full sister to the Hanoverian Stallion Bon Bonaparte, who sired the Olympic dressage horse ‘Bonaparte’, ridden by Heike Kemmer. This combination placed 3rd individually at the Bejing Olympics in 2008 and were part of the Gold medal winning Team.
Much Ado’s sire, Merlin (Reg. Magic) is a son of Matcho x, who placed first out of 45 stallions in his 1982 performance test at Adelheidsdorf. Matcho produced 46 licensed stallions, 64 States Premium mares and 1,285 show horses. He received an impressive score of 142 points for improvement of type and 126 points for limb improvement. Merlin was the Reserve Champion at his performance test; ranking 1st in jumping and 2nd in rideability.
Much Ado C has been in professional training for about a year. He has been focused on dressage and shows great potential. He recently started jumping which he is enjoying immensely. His changes are confirmed. His lovely relaxed canter and easy jump make him a possible hunter/jumper prospect as well. He is relaxed and attentive in the show ring. He aims to please and is a true gentleman.
