LACROSSE C: 2013 colt by Landkonig

Lacrosse inherits his sire’s powerful quarters and his dame’s expressive, lofty movement.  He is an in your pocket type and easily trainable.  He leads well, stands for farrier, vet and groom.  He is well handled. He loves to free lunge and free jumps with great joy.  He is currently in training, and is loving his job.

Lacrosse’s sire, Landkönig, is in fact the highest rated jumper listed, standing in the U.S. He is listed in the 2009 Stallion yearbook with a jumper breed value of 135 and 140 for ability, slightly higher than super producer and 2007 stallion of the year Argentinus. Lacrosse’s Dame lines include such greats as World Cup IV, Argentan, Der Lowe.

Landkönig has produced, from his first foal crop, a licensed Hanoverian stallion son and in 2002 broke the record for producing the highest selling jumper ever in the history at the Hanoverian Elite auctions in Germany.  Lacrosse’s half brother, Lantinus,  sold for Euro 215,000 as a four year old, also setting the record price for the Hanoverian auction year, something never done by a jumper!

Landkonig’s offspring are known for their superb ridability, athleticism  and jumping ability.  They make excellent AO prospects.
