Field trips ought to provide a rich, hands-on learning experience to review or expand upon concepts undertaken in the classroom. Therefore, our tours are curated to reflect grade level and curriculum content, to ensure that the experience is in line with the concepts studied in the classroom. In this tour, we will examine the impacts that both humans and animals can have on one another and the environment, and describe some ways in which any negative impacts can be minimized .
We will also look at certain adaptations, including physical and/or behavioural characteristics, that have evolved in a farm ecosystem.
