Grade 5

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Field trips ought to provide a rich,  hands-on learning experience  to review or expand upon concepts undertaken in the classroom.  Therefore, our tours are curated to reflect grade level and curriculum content, to ensure that the experience is in line with the concepts studied in the classroom.  Book a field trip to  supplement the topics studied in class.

Duration: 90 minutes

In this tour, we will assess the effects of a variety of social and environmental factors on human health.  We will also  discuss the use of fossil fuels in conventional farming practices and explain how certain practices  contribute to climate change.  Finally we will  conduct an experiment that can be taken home or brought back to school for further observation. 


CLASSES OF 19 OR FEWER STUDENTS:           FLAT FEE $160+HST

ADDITIONAL STUDENTS $8.50+HST EACH
